Money raised to save the Dutch VCE exam by The Grand Connection

On 22 January the Belgian and Dutch communities celebrated The Grand Connection. Young and old joined to share their stories and really get to know each other for who they really are. There were folk games like sjoelen, zaklopen and spijkerpoepen and even some trivia. The people who attended had a great time and are looking forward to the next Grand Connection.

The proceeds of the day went to two good causes that participants could vote for. Part of this donation went to the Association of Dutch Teachers of Victoria and we couldn’t be happier!

Thank you to the Grand Connection Team and thank you to everyone who voted for us! The money will be well spent on promoting the Dutch language and saving the Dutch VCE exam.
